Powe knows stepfamily life. Born into a stepfamily that failed, her young mother had difficulty finding stability as a single parent of a child with health care needs. At age five, Powe was adopted into a successfully blended family. While working in Los Angeles, she met her current husband. At 21, she married the revised version of the man of her dreams - he was 30 and a package deal that included three, chocolate-brown-eyed children - and their mother, of course. While dating there was no evidence that shared-parenting would prove to be difficult. Once the wedding bells rang, however, reality ushered in unexpected changes. Real Talk. Real Strategies. Real Change. Real SOLUTIONS!
