How to take your show to the next level

Alot of my friends here at Blog Talk Radio ask me the same question over and over again.  "How do you guys do it? You're brand new here but you're already kick'in butt and takin' names".  First off, thanks for noticing.  Yeah we're good, real good, maybe the     best.  But it's not about that, it's about entertaining your fans.  So here are a few tips on how to get your ratings up and really take your show to the next level.

First off, show up on time for your own show.  There is nothing more annoying that tuning into a show that starts off with dead air for 9 mintues and 45 seconds.

Second have a co-host who shows up for your production meetings.  I can't stress this enough.  Get a reliable co-host, I've had to deal with Mark the past several years and it just isn't worth it.  Yes, I've been succesfull despite him, but most people don't have the tenasity, fortitude and talent that I've got.  Too arrogant?  It's not bragging if you can back it up, atleast that what some guy on the web said.  And if you can't trust the web you can you trust.

And lastly, respect your fans.  That's why were doing this right?  For our fans.  I mean most of my fans don't get the deeper meaning of my jokes.  Sure they get the punchy, gag driven stuff, but they always miss the stuff that is layered or a little more intelectual.  Does this frustrate me? Sure, but what do you expect when dealing with the masses?  Isn't that a little condesending?  Sure but I'm one of those jerks who's thinks he's smarter than the mass population and usually refers to them as sheep, or something else even more clever than that.

Anyway, follow these simple steps and you may just start competing at my level... but probably not.

    Good Luck, Bob
