Big Show this week on the Cory and Tom Show featuring Bob. We will be interviewing Super Jabs from "BLOW YOUR LOAD". It will also be a farewell show for Mark. He will no longer be participating in the show, so we will have a retrospective on him, all the good and bad times Mark brought us. Oh, and he won't be on the show this week. We will also have a contest to rename our website, from GUYMORPHSINTOABARCOM to .....

The Cory and Tom show featuring Bob. We will be giving a way Season 1, 2, 3 or 4 (your choice) DVD of "Home Movies". All you have to do is call in and be the best caller (we usually have 1 caller per night, so it shouldn't be that hard). We will be discussing the classic show "Home Movies" from Brendon Small.

How to take your show to the next level

Alot of my friends here at Blog Talk Radio ask me the same question over and over again.  "How do you guys do it? You're brand new here but you're already kick'in butt and takin' names".  First off, thanks for noticing.  Yeah we're good, real good, maybe the     best.  But it's not about that, it's about entertaining your fans.  So here are a few tips on how to get your ratings up and really take your show to the next level.

First off, show up on time for your own show.  There is nothing more annoying that tuning into a show that starts off with dead air for 9 mintues and 45 seconds.

Second have a co-host who shows up for your production meetings.  I can't stress this enough.  Get a reliable co-host, I've had to deal with Mark the past several years and it just isn't worth it.  Yes, I've been succesfull despite him, but most people don't have the tenasity, fortitude and talent that I've got.  Too arrogant?  It's not bragging if you can back it up, atleast that what some guy on the web said.  And if you can't trust the web you can you trust.

And lastly, respect your fans.  That's why were doing this right?  For our fans.  I mean most of my fans don't get the deeper meaning of my jokes.  Sure they get the punchy, gag driven stuff, but they always miss the stuff that is layered or a little more intelectual.  Does this frustrate me? Sure, but what do you expect when dealing with the masses?  Isn't that a little condesending?  Sure but I'm one of those jerks who's thinks he's smarter than the mass population and usually refers to them as sheep, or something else even more clever than that.

Anyway, follow these simple steps and you may just start competing at my level... but probably not.

    Good Luck, Bob

    Save the Drama for Obama

We had our first official show on Monday of the and we had a few problems. Where to start...we had some huge technical difficulties and the second half of the show is basically inaudible. Mark, decided to spend half of the show talking to his friends and ignoring the show. Then we got into a huge fight about it on the air. To be honest I almost cancelled the show right then and there. But I knew I couldn't do it. For one thing, Cory and Tom deserve better. They do. I think we all know that. Don't we? Who is the "we" in that sentence? Why all the questions? Who knows. Anyway, I could have given up on the show, given up on the fans, given up on Tom and Cory, but they deserve better. They do.

So instead of being a quitter/loser/Mark Shady/jack ass, I decided I would do what any respectable Winner would do in this situation. Get right back on the horse! Oh, and then upgrade the horse from a show pony to a 400 horsepower Mustang!! What does that mean? I'm glad you asked. It looks like we have Tom Scharpling lined up for an interview today at 5:00 PM (Pacific). That's right Tom Scharpling from the Best Show on WFMU. I know what you're thinking, you just interviewed Petey from the Best Show on WFMU and now you have the head honcho lined up? Have you gone completely bonkers? Maybe... maybe I have. Or maybe I'm the type of guy who looks defeat right and the face and laughs. Then when defeat turns away from being laughed at too long. I'm the type of guy who sucker punches him in the back of the head. Then when defeat is on the ground holding the back of his head, I'm the type of guy who would take things way too far by grabbing a stick and beating him mercilessly. Then while defeat is bleeding to death on the ground, I'm the type of guy who would run away and hide in the bushes so the cops don't find me. I'm that type of guy.

So be sure to tune in tonight (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/spaceoffice) and see if I can right the ship. Lots of pressure with a star like Tom Scharpling lined up, let's just hope that defeat doesn't show up again, for everyone's sake.

More technical difficulties, skip to 9:45 minutes in, the beginning is dead air, Sorry! The Cory and Tom Show featuring Bob and Mark. We don't have any celebrity guests lined up this week so its just Me, Mark and the callers. Mark and I will discuss my call into The Best Show on WFMU and the chances of me becoming rookie of the year.
