He was awarded the most honorable award for satirical writer - ten years in Siberian hard labor concentration camp because his sense of humor did not coincide with the sense of a Soviet rulers' humor.

He escaped from Moscow to Chicago and pursued his right of happiness as full time knight watchman and part time professor at Loyola University, Columbia College and Central YMCA College.

He lectured on social and political topics concerning socialism and a way to endure in a totalitarism society. As a result he was considered one of the most notable speakers in the Chicagoland area.
