At 7:15, join Kathy as she welcomes Author Jan Glover into the studio to share her journey of how her life drastically changed in 2009. While an Air Force Reservist at Moody AFB, Jan was called in to discuss the results of her physical exam. Discovered were carcinoid tumors found in Jan's digestive tract and she was diagnosed with gastric cancer. Jan would go on to have a full gastrectomy on October 20, 2010 to remove her stomach and has since been cancer free. As a teenager Jan was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and this likely predisposed her to the gastric cancer. She recently celebrated being cancer free for five years!!!
