Since 2003 the band has been performing in New York City and was recently featured at the Vermont Arts Exchange’s Basement Music Series.     Joining the show at 3pm is survivor Missy Jenkins and co-author William Croyle. A victim of a school shooting on December 1, 1997, Missy was paralyzed from the chest down and shares her triumpic story that she details in her book 'I choose to be Happy'. On the show next at 3:15 is John Gilmore author of Inside Marilyn Monroe. John will speak to us about his candid memoir of a tragically abbreviated friendship. John approaches his subject in an unprecedented and original format hardly thought of in the vast biographical record of Marilyn Monroe. Paul Austin author of 'Something For The Pain' joins us at 3:30 to who writes in his debut book of his transformation to a ER doctor. This memoir is his account of life and death in the ER. In his narrative stories he speaks of treating patients with gunshot wounds, brain tumors, asthma, heart ailments and general problems. In 1981, he began a personal project of writing a non-fiction book about the character. At the time, nothing like it had ever been done before. He wanted it to include a history of the 007 phenomenon, a biography of Ian Fleming, and analyses of all the Bond books and movies. He is also an active member of a multi-faith group in Paris dedicated to peace in the Middle East. On next at 3:15 is Alison Sawyer author of 'No Urn for the Ashes'. This is her first novel but No Urn for the Ashes is a remarkable debut and an unforgettable story about how we deal with the things in life that matter to us most. at 3:30pm Joseph Flynn author of 'The President's Henchman' joins the show.
