Join us for a conversation with recording artist Casey Stratton, whose recently released album, Six Windows Opened, is a 6 track EP based on 6 Tarot cards.  While signed to Sony Music, Casey released his 2004 album Standing at the Edge to high critical praise from the likes of Billboard, People and USA Today. His song "House of Jupiter" charted for 20 weeks and reached #1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Chart. Casey started his own label in 2005 and has released over 16 albums, EPs and B-side collections in his own digital music store, including Myth & Stars, drawing on Greek mythology and constellations, weaved into modern day narratives.

The age old myth of the Holly King and Oak King gets a queer twist as we look to the Tarot to reveal what happens when these two Kings become lovers rather than rivals out to dominate the other (well, except maybe when they’re behind closed doors).  A poem by Storm Faerywolf leads to a Tarot reading that examines the fiery and tempestuous relationship between these two Kings.

Our ongoing segment, Living the Queer Life, offers insight and guidance from the Tarot about how to live a queer life in the most spiritually fulfilling way possible.  Being queer isn’t about sexuel orientation, but about being our most authentic self in the way we act, speak and live our lives, no matter how unconventional, strange, odd or different.  This segment offers tips on how to do just that.
