Ocean was right on the money---a man should bounce ASAP in the early phases of a relationship if he finds out she is not compatible with him before his heart gets involved (and he becomes stupid). And she was right on the money when seh said women put too much stock on the wedding day instead of the efforts it takes to maintain a relationship. She's right that too many women have the Disney mentality regarding that matter.

When it comes to relationships I think men are more prone to making LOGICAL decisions whereas women are more prone to maek EMOTIONAL decisions.... this would explain why so many black American women are baby mamas to all sorts of unsavory thugs out there.

I totally agree with Ocean's perspective that men need to get with women that reflect their strength. Sounds like she is one who would NOT be out to emasculate a man in order to wear the pants. I would not be surprised in the least bit if she drew the wrath of the "Pink Elephant Sistahood" with her views and positions in this interview.

Wow... right off the bat Ocean admitted that she had been making bad relationship choices---that is extremely RARE in black American women nowadays. I'm impressed!!!
