"The wedding was a complete success." These are words that I heard many times this past weekend, in the aftermath of my daughters wedding; and those words are music to my ears. Everything went off without a hitch, including the music piece I wrote for my daughter Emily, and her husband Arin, which was played during the ceremony (Loves Eternal Dance). I was moved by the joy and happiness that was evident in all that attended the wedding ceremony, but also who came to the marriage feast after the wedding had taken place. There was dancing, and a wonderful meal, fabulous beverages, and a great DJ playing wonderful music chosen by my daughter. I even danced with the bride, and with my wife. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Knowing how I felt as the father of the bride, I also thought about how God will view the marriage feast of His Only Begotten Son, and His bride, when all of the redeemed join the Holy family at the celebration of the marriage of the Lamb to His Bride. There is no feeling like it that I know. Yet there will be many that reject the invitation because it is not the invitation that they expected, nor is it presented in the way they understand. Unless a person comes to the wedding in the proper clothing, and at the proper time, that person will miss out on the greatest joy that they will have ever known. Don't be THAT person.
