Why should we be interested in discovering the truth for ourselves? There are many religions with many practitioners that will tell you that 'their' religion is the right way to find God. There are many 'prophets' and 'apostles' that will tell you that THEY come from God, and that if you believe THEM that you will find the truth. Jesus spoke of this to His own disciples when He said to 'beware of those that come in His name, claiming that "He is the Christ", but they will deceive many.' You do not have to be deceived. But the only way that we have found that eliminates the possibility of deception is to folllow the words and teachings of Jesus Christ that He gave to His own eyewitness disciples while He was here on earth.
