In Memory of Jack Smith.

In November of 2010, Jack Smith was shot & killed in Colorado Springs at the age of 19. He was at a party when a fight broke out & he attempted to get between a 16 year old with a gun and his good friend. Sadly, instead of diffusing the situation as he hoped, Jack lost his life. His attackers, both the shooter & another man who physically assaulted Jack once he was already shot & bleeding on the ground, are going to be sentenced in September. Jack's friends and family feel that the plea that these two took gives them a much lighter sentence than they deserve. They hope to see Jack's attackers brought to trial & charged with multiple crimes that will render them a harsher sentence. They also want to bring attention to this matter & receive community support in the hopes that justice might be served better in this case & in future ones. We at Sorry We're Perfect feel honored to lend a voice to this cause & to help any way we can.
