We're taking yet another ride on the brain waves this week, literally, as we welcome Dr, Sung Lee from BR Consulting to the program. He's the research director who traces the Brain Education System Training (BEST) work of Ilichi Lee (not sure if they're related yet)back into applied neuroscience. It's an odd fit in the sense that BEST entail many practices that are associated with the more low tech side of mindfulness, movement therapy and contemplative practices. So even within that element, the theme of blending opposing perspectives, different worldviews and cultural values surface. We'll get into all the yin-yang of it and try and connect science, soul and soma. We'll be featuring the BEST practice of Brain Wave Vibration which is inherently somatic. We get back to the 'heart of brain science' this week with on old friend of mine and a new one. Chiropractic is a lot like your home town. It's become a good place to be FROM but when you go back and visit it, something's been lost. Over the last 20 years, many of it's innovative minds have taken their ideas directly to the people as the profession has wrestled with it's inner demons.
