Today's featured guest: David Lawrence is the Founder/Lead Editor of ImpelMinistry.com – an online magazine for young church leaders exploring ideas, leadership trends, movements, causes and resources that enables “ministry” to be progressive, innovative and effective. David started ministering publicly in his teens and has traveled to over 15 nations throughout Europe, Asia and South America. He loves collaborating and networking with other young leaders. His hero is Jack Bauer and his personal mission is to get all his friends hooked on the his favorite TV show 24. Even though David is the driving force behind ImpelMinistry.com he can tend to be a little “ADD.” David enjoys Starbucks coffee like everyone else, but doesn’t really need it because of his natural energy and random outbursts into song. Before launching ImpelMinistry.com, he was a former director and producer of the ORU Ignite Leadership Conference. Through Ignite he had the opportunity to invite and host ministry leaders, business leaders and worship artists like Dr. John Maxwell, Dr. Tim Elmore, John & Lisa Bevere, Napoleon Kauffman, Matthew Barnett, Lynette Lewis, Jeff Deyo, The Desperation Band and other nationally known ministries. He has served at faith-based media organizations doing marketing, event partnerships and public relations with the Strang Communications – Book Group Division and the popular and culturally savvy, RELEVANT Magazine. He is also a contributing writer for the Austin Faith & Family magazine. He is a graduate from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
