Accomplished guitarist, prolific songwriter and sweet, soulful vocalist, Jennifer Bliss is a modern-day musical renaissance woman. Inspired by diverse talents such as Jimi Hendrix, Prince, Israel Houghton, Sting & Sheryl Crowe, Jennifer Bliss’ music can be best described as acoustic rock. Because of the multiplicity of musical influence and interests, Jennifer’s professional music experience is equally varied ranging from Jazz and Gospel, to Rock & R&B. As a founding member of the all black female rock band, Edith’s Wish, Jennifer toured the southeast, sharing the stage with such notables as Michelle Ndegeocello, Collective Soul, Sister Hazel, Evan & Jaron and Shawn Mullins. Jennifer has also played with acoustic soul artist, India Arie, jazz artist Roy Ayers, Anthony David, Donnie, Atlanta gospel group, Destiny Praise and the all black female funk/ jazz group, Femme De La Funk. As a songwriter, Jennifer Bliss has won several awards, including honors from the Georgia Music Industry Association. Jennifer also has toured as guitarist/ background singer for world famous neo-soul artist, Musiq Soulchild. Some of the 2009 tours included The “Year of the Gentleman Tour” with Ne-Yo and Jazmine Sullivan, and the “Playin It Cool Tour” with Anthony Hamilton and Chrisette Michelle.
