Recently, evidence has come to light about African Americans being used as informants for the FBI during the Civil Rights era...Was that practice acceptable and is it still happening today? Notorious Spinks will join us in a discussion surrounding the practice of using those of your race to spy and give information to the FBI. Notorious Spinks is an avid book reader, blogger, and community activist who is passionate about issues that affect people of color, especially children. She is currently assisting The Office of Minority Health to promote their Healthy Baby initiative geared toward African-American men and women to decrease the incidents of infant mortality deaths. In her spare time, she loves to volunteer, read, and spoil her great nieces. You can usually find her at www.notoriousspinkstalks.com and www.twitter.com/notoriousspinks.
