Girl Talk with Florence M. Johnson Esq.

Join me for a discussion on issues black women grapple with on a day to day basis and what we must do to overcome obstacles. My co-host will be the lovely and intelligent, Florence Johnson, Esq. Florence is a civil rights in Memphis, T.N. She is also a Rhodes University alumnus. She has litigated under the FLSA, FMLA; WARN Act, ERISA, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, RLA, LMRA, NLRA, and Medicare False Claims Act.  She also advises a number of private businesses on employee relations, routinely conduct training on employee issues and handle EEOC complaints. Other organizations that she has represented are the UAW, Teamsters and represented the interest of the International Longshoremen’s Union in negotiation with management in contract bargaining.  Currently, in addition to work in the firm, she represents the interest of the City of Memphis in litigation and arbitration matters.
