Although National Women and GIrls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day was last month, March 10, 2014, it's never too late to talk about HIV/AIDS Awareness. I have the privledge to talk to this beautiful soul, Kecia Johnson, who is a 8 year AIDS survivor. She has been using her life experience as a platform and testimony that you can live a vibrant, normal life despite the stigma of living with full blown AIDS. Being diagnosed 8 years ago at the age of 22, she has become the new face of AIDS. Aside from being an activist, she is also an artist manager and an author! She just released a book entitled "Dying To Be D.I.V.A" meaning Doing It Vivaciously Alone, with another new book available next month. She has been embraced in the music industry because of her positive spirit and choosing to live her life to the fullest and not in secret. She is choosing to educate young girls and young women worldwide. Doing countless interviews, motivational speakings, appearances and the list goes on and on. I'm going to catch up with this fabulous women to hear her full story and see what she has going on now! This should be a story you won't want to miss! If you would like to call in to share a comment or ask a question, the number is (347) 855-8637.
