The scene of the world has drastically changed when it comes to relationships. Especially with black america. It seems as though love is based on more so superficial or materialistic grounds than anything else. The media is playing a sizable amount in our relationships. We look to celebrities, tv shows, movies and music as the guideline or how things should be. We see the tainted images that's been portrayed and it has nothing to do with being faithful and monogamous. In fact, it is the total opposite. Being in a relationship but having multiple men/women on the sides. Being in situationships (whatever that is), not respecting someone else's established union and the list goes on and on. Love as a whole often times isn't so simple but we unnecessarily complicate things that aren't that complicated. This is not to say that other races are perfect and that they don't have issues but looking at the media as a whole, who take's the lead in drama based reality shows, the constant media scandals, the music lyrics that portray that it is acceptable to have a main chick and then chicks on the side. My black people. It's sad and also discouraging. Share your thought's on the show!
