The Question of Faith - Half Measures Room

Episode #22:  Why must we believe in a higher power in order to stay sober?  if it is a spiritual program and not a religious one, why do we recite the 'Lord's Prayer' at the end of every meeting?  I've been praying and praying, and nothing is happening.  I don't think this faith business is working.  If there is a God, why is there so much injustice in the world?  Tonight we try our best to answer these questions and many more as we examine faith and how it fits into the 12 step program.  Please call in to offer your own ESH on this subject.
