Tonight we are going to talk about: Dating in Recovery. Do we admit that we are in recovery with the rest of the "normal" world? If so, at what point? Do we tell our employer, or co-workers, or neighbors? Do we politely decline a drink with just a, "no, thank you", or do we say, "no, thank you, I'm in recovery"? What is the difference between secretive-omission and anonymity? We will be discussing this and more...

This topic was provided by one of our members...Thanks Carrie I.!

What We Are About is Allowing People to Share Their Experience, Strength and Hope in Recovery! Sober Couch Community: We know recovery can be a sensitive issue. We really try to make the best of it here on the couch and have some fun while we are getting better.

It is our goal to create a place where people can come, relax and share if you like, without too much formality or rules outside of common courtesy and have a forum for the many topics of recovery across various addictions.

Please be respectful of others when you call. Please be nice to the hosts! :) EVERYONE is Welcome!
Also please note that we are not affiliated with any group or organization specifically. We are people who have a common interest in recovering from our previous conditions.
