Nicholas Snow welcomes director Sheldon Larry. His film, LEAVE IT ON THE FLOOR, described by IndieWire as "a sizzling mash-up of PARIS IS BURNING, RENT and DREAMGIRLS.” Heads up! Five songs from the score: an impressive mix of hip-hop, techno and house and gives the entire film its heart-pumping pulse; the dance numbers and choreography bring it alive. Inspired by the “vogueing” sensation featured in the 1990 documentary Paris Is Burning, Sheldon Larry's exuberant musical Leave it on the Floor is now on Netflix. With music by Beyonce musical director Kim Burse, screenplay and lyrics by Glenn Gaylord, choreography by Beyonce dance master, Frank Gatson Jr. and eye-popping visuals and direction by Sheldon Larry, the film is an ode to the wild funky and heart-aching life of this underground subculture.
