Joseph was given a dream that he would rule over his brothers.  His brothers resented him for this, and they sold him into slavery, after stealing his coat and throwing him into a ditch.  Having suffered as a slave for some time, the pharoh found favor in Joseph, and put him in charge of many people, including his brothers.  Rather than being wrathful against his brothers for selling him into slavery, he saw the goodness of God’s hand at work, instead of the evil of his brother’s actions.

The moral of the story is:  When God gives you rotten grapes, make wine!

Rose Rodriguez gave birth to a baby boy, who lived 4 hours and then died.  Rose then gave birth to a baby girl, who was born with a brain tumor so large it took up 85% of her cranium.  The surgeon told Rose that there was nothing that could be done, and her daughter would surely die.  Rose pleaded with the surgeon, who was also a mother, and the surgeon agreed to operate.  After over 90 different procedures, the baby girl is now 11 years old, and she is the sweetest child ever.  During one of the surgical procedures, the girl died on the operating table.  When she miraculously came back to life and woke up, she told a story of an experience she had in heaven where she met her brother, who she had never known, nor had she ever been told had been born, as the boy died 4 hours after birth, years prior to her own birth.  Rose was raised in an abusive household, with an alcoholic for a father.  She has been through more in her life than most could imagine, and yet she has maintained faith in God.  She is a very inspiring person, and her life story has a moral:  When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!
