Self promotion is always a good thing. It's part of the theory behind a company called FolioMatch.
FolioMatch is all about students wanting to stand out and market themselves by showing off their talents and abilities. FolioMatch then matches students with the opportunities that make most sense for their personal goals and future endeavors.
Joining Host Patrick Shore and Jodi Livengood on The Hut is FolioMatch Founder & CEO, Evan Kirsch who began his entrepreneurial life in real estate. One of 20 students nationally selected for Seth Godin’s 2012 Summer Seminar in New York City, he’s won the 2012 Student Entrepreneur of the Year at UMKC and the 2012 and 2013 UMKC Venture Creation Challenges. He is, as well, a distinguished E-Scholar at the Regnier Institute.
Also joining in on the discussion is Andrea Moran, Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer and is the chief architect of FolioMatch's marketing blueprint. As the former Business Development Director for a digital marketing agency in Kansas City she has worked on national brands like Payless, Salvation Army, Houlihans, and UMKC to name a few. Three years ago she set out to become an entrepreneur and business owner of her own tech company called AMDigital. She specializes in helping clients with anything and everything online from website technology to email marketing, social media and mobile experiences.
