Tyler Cohen Wood is an expert in social media and cyber issues. She is a senior officer and a cyber branch chief for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) within the Department of Defense (DoD) where she makes decisions and recommendations significantly changing, interpreting, and developing important cyber policies and programs affecting current and future DoD and Intelligence Community policies.

Prior to joining the Agency, she worked for the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center as a senior digital forensic analyst, using her expertise to conduct intrusion, malware analysis, major crimes and exploitation of children forensic examinations to achieve many successful prosecutions and saving the commercial industry millions of dollars. Before joining the DoD Cyber Crime Center, she was employed at IBM and NASA as a senior forensic analyst where she also showcased her expertise in intrusions, and major crimes. She is a well-known authority in the Intelligence, DoD, Law Enforcement and Computer Forensics communities for her work with digital forensics and Cyber Intelligence and has presented as a Cyber expert at conferences across the country. She co-authored the textbook Alternate Data Storage Forensics and was featured in Best Damn Cybercrime and Digital Forensics Book Period.

She is frequently featured in the media as an expert on social media and cyber issues. Her TV, radio and print media include a feature article in the Wall Street Journal, CNN.com, Fox News, CBS, ABC, CNN Tonight, Huffington Post, and much more.
