Sisters: Real Talk!
Too Many Missing Children!
Avonte Oquendo has been missing for thirty-three days in a city with over 8 million people...
yet nobody saw him?
Everyday on Facebook and Instagram there are dozens of posts and photos of missing children; the majority of them girls.
Ariel Castro kept three girls captive for years right under the noses of their community.
How do we keep our children safe?
Do they have too much freedom and responsibility?
Are they running away or being abducted?
What are we doing wrong? What are we missing? Are we ignoring the cries for help?
What happened to the nosy neighbor that
watched everything and saw everything?
Is no one questioning or reporting when they see a child alone or with a person with whom they are obviously uncomfortable?
Let's talk about it!
Join the #MurchisonGirls tonight for some facts, statistics and safety measures. And an open discussion about how we as a community can do a better job at keeping our children safe.
And you know we are going to recap Election Day 2013!
Don't forget...we want to hear from you!!!
