Just walking down the street, or into an office building can be a burden for a woman. If we are not smiling and offering what society deems to be friendly greetings, we are automatically thought of as angry, bitter, stuck up, etc. We simply cannot wear our faces as they come without it being a problem. We cannot wear what we please without "asking for it." We cannot be proud of our sexuality without being labeled whores. We are constantly being taught respectability and likabilty politics to please society and, more importantly, men. We are striking back against society's norms and stereotypes. Call in and let us hear your thoughts.
