Lakia McDaniel is an author, mother of three beautiful children, & engaged to her soulmate & father of her children. Before she committed herself to her true passion of writing, she was a dental assistant for 6 years. Lakia wanted to start a paltform for women from all walks of life, where they could discuss the issues of women in their everyday lives.She started an online women's group where women could connect in a positive vibe, where they could uplift and empower one another & later on branched onto the internet radio industry, where she co host with friend, La'Keya Randall. lakia gets her inspiration of talk radio by watching shows like The View, The Michael Baisden Show, & the BET classic,"Oh Drama!".Lakia's debut book, Hidden Confessions under Imperial Ink Publishing, is scheduled to be released in the Summer of '09. As a single mother of three beautiful children, La'keya knows how challenging it can be, so bonding with other women in the same predictament are both fullfilling & rewarding, because not only does she believe in connecting with other women to stay strong & positive, she enjoys giving advice to other sisters who seeks reassurance and inspiration. La'Keya works for the City of Baltimore, but also enjoys writing. An aspiring author herself, she has her own column in a Baltimore based magazine, where she and Lakia have their own advice column,as well.
