it doesn't hurt
it will always make me laugh out loud
make me forever proud to be in it's presence
the pure essence of life is that which i speak of
love

it's not just a word or a lie spoken without remorse
it's definitely deeper than having random intercourse
it's not longing to get married one day and the next
rushing to file for divorce
it's love

now i've told you some of what it is not
please allow me to share with you what it is
it's putting others first before yourself
it's long walks and even longer talks when
they need you more than you need your sleep
it's loving her children as your own
because if you love her, you don't want her doing it all alone
it's something you should take your time with
you don't want to give it to the wrong person
so my advice would be to wait
it will come when the moment is right
not in one random passionate night
so just wait i say
just wait
