I very much enjoyed the interviews. Asking Renee about the characters in relationship to her upbringing & career were great. I know I always find myself wondering how closely a character is to the author. Renee's reflection on when she was a teacher; specifically when she said "the children I was privileged to teach" was a positive affirmation to parents that there are still folks that actually want to teach. The piece recited by Basic, "Ask" was beautifully expressive.
