Tonight we end Season 1 of Delibernation. So, we want to end on a high note and discuss some of the shows we’ve done this year. Here’s a look:

Soap Operas: Victoria Wyndham & Charles Keating stopped by this season. ATWT ended its run on CBS. Their fans are disheartened and have been unsuccessful in changing the minds of P&G. We’ll discuss the movement and what projects the fans are considering. And, we can’t walk away from soaps without discussing the soap media and its decline in circulation and relevance to the daytime television industry.

Small Business: We’ll discuss our shows with Steve from Double Chin Foods and how he took an old family recipe and took a chance. We’ll discuss My Diva Diet by Blogger Christine Lakatos and the impact of the Gulf Oil Spill on our friend Bubba John of Bubba John’s Seafood down on the Gulf. And we’ll cap off our small business discussion by chatting about Jennifer Jolicouer and her Athena’s Home Novelties.

Politics & Current Events: Many of our listeners look forward to the monthly discussions between Silas and Mike Archer of Abbotsford Today in British Columbia. They’ve discussed many issues this season including the perception of Canadians by Americans and vice versa. We’ll also discuss our show with Pete Benac, the founder of American Spirit BBQ which provides free BBQ events to returning soldiers from combat duty and their families.

We’ve covered a lot of topics this season and hope you take the opportunity to download any of the podcasts available here at BlogTalkRadio.

Then, we’ll give you a preview to Season 2 of Delibernation as we go to two podcasts per week:

Tuesdays, 10 PM Eastern US: “Lathered Up” with Silas Kain

Thursdays, 11 PM Eastern US: “Delibernation” with Silas Kain
