It's Hump Day - Day Three of our week long Surge on Soaps. Tonight we launch some revolutionary ideas for the resuscitation of a genre that's on life support -- SOAP OPERA! Tonight I will unveil some revolutionary new ideas never before discussed. These ideas are going to be difficult for studios to ignore. They're so old and so creative one will think that Adam Chandler or Victor Newman came up with the plan. We've got the passion of Lily Snyder, he strength of Lucinda Walsh and the humor of Lisa Hughes on our side, folks! If you've been following this week, you we are on a roll. Tonight, when you hear what we have in store you will walk away and say -- YES WE CAN!

Why are we doing this? It's simple:

The Save Our Soaps folks have banded together to have a rally at CBS Studios in NYC on September 20th. Other fans who can’t make it to New York have expressed interest in having simultaneous rallies at local CBS affiliates including Boston, Phoenix, Vermont and Texas! Tonight we'll catch up on the grass roots effort and share ideas on how to make Surge on Soaps Week a media story by week's end.

Tonight we air at a special time - 10 PM Eastern. If you host a soap themed BlogTalkRadio Show, we want you to get involved. We've got to band together to make a point. We're all about leaving egos at the door and coming to a consensus that props up what the pundits say is a"dying genre". If you are a die hard soap fan, a soap blogger or (again) a radio host. Come on down and get on our train!
