Signs of the Times  

     "Let the greatest sinners place their trust in My mercy.  They have the right beforeothers to trust in the abyss of My mercy.  My daughter, write about My mercy towards tormented souls.  Souls that make an appeal to My mercy delight Me.  To such souls I grant even more graces than they ask.  I cannot punish even the greatest sinner if he makes an appeal to My compassion, but on the contrary, I justify him in My unfathomable and inscutable mecy.  Write:  Before I come as a just Judge, I first open wide the door of My mercy.  He who refuses to pass through the door of My mercy must pass theough the door of My Justice...."

          ".....This is what I feel I must tell you today in the Lord:  In order to live a devout life constantly, there is no need to do anything except imprint some excellent and general maxims in your soul:

    a) The first one I desire to see in you is that of St. Paul:  'We know that in everything God worlks for good, with those who love Him.'  And in truth, given that the Lord can and is able to obtain good even from evil, for who will he do this, if not for those who have given themselves to him without reservation?  Even sins themselves, which God keeps far from us by his goodness, are used for the good of those who serve him, by his divine providence.  If the holy King David had never sinned, he would never have acquired such a profound humility; not would Mary Magdalene have so ardently loved Jesus if he had not forgiven her so many sins and if she had not committed them.
      Consider my dearest daughter, the work of this great mercy:  It converts our sins into good and with the venom of our sins makes a theriac which is healthy for our souls.  Tell me, therefore, what will He not do with our afflictions, with the troubles and persecutions which upset us?    (to be con't....)
