Penn State crosses the mind of every parent. We work to select programs to nurture and support our children, but how do we trust again?

Vaughn Bryant, Chief Programs Officer at the Chicago Park District, will join us tonight to discuss what it takes to create a safe, supportive athletic environment for families. Currently, Mr. Bryant is responsible for the Community Recreation Department which focuses on the Park District's core mission of providing high quality recreation and leisure opportunities to Chicago residents and visitors. Most importantly, as a father Vaughn knows firstahand the concerns and fears a parent experiences when selecting activities for their children.

A former NFL executive and member of the Stanford University Athletic Department, Vaughn has developed positive programming for athletes at all levels. As an executive in Player Development, he created programs that continue to prepare players in the league for ultimate success.

Vaughn is a graduate of Stanford University and Northwestern University and is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. (LMFT). His extensive experience on the field and off coupled with his training provide him make him uniquely qualfied to discuss issues specific to the athletic family.
