Jeffrey Howe 's first three feature screenplays—"Robo4ce," "Cover Crop," and "Not Even Past"—reached the finals in or won twenty-five contests and festivals. His first short screenplay, "Medicine Show Blues" won or placed in fourteen festivals last year; a feature-length version is in pre-production. A Veer West table read of his prize-winning short-short script "Saline County, Illinois" will be available on YouTube in June. He was a top 5 finisher in last year's NYC Midnight Screenwriting Challenge.

His short fiction has appeared in One Teen Story, in the anthology Moon Shot: Murder and Mayhem at the Edge of Space, and in the quarterly anthology The First Line.

Current projects include three short scripts (horror, thriller, and fairy-tale) currently pounding the festival beat and his fourth feature screenplay, a ghost story set at the Amundsen-Scott Station at the South Pole.

He lives and works in the scenic Black Creek Bottoms area near St. Louis, Missouri, where he fights off writers' block with liberal doses of 70s funk and cool jazz. His family understands, for the most part.

Jeffrey was a Quarter Finalist in 2016 and a 2017 Double Finalist with Medicine Show Blues & Not Even Past!
