The affects Same-Gender couples have on children...
Since the law has allowed adoption of children by those in the GLBTQ community, there is a very serious issue that the Church must recognize and again develop a “plan” of how to deal with it.

How does this situation (SG/SS adoption) affect a child and how do we tell the truth about relationships and sexual activities outside of God’s will, parents may be involved in, and still protect the emotions of the child of these parents? Can the Church reconcile a commitment to not compromise and still have a heart of compassion and be productive in ministry? How do we protect children without sexual issues and those with such issues in the same congregation? How do we successfully insure that those children with issues are not ignored (ministered to) yet make sure there is no adverse consequences experienced by the other children? Can SG/SS parents or a single SSA parent be allowed to have all of the opportunities to serve, lead out, and operate in a congregation the same way heterosexual “married” couples or single parent can? If yes or no, how will this affect their child and what message will be sent to the other children?

Join us tomorrow night, Tuesday Dec. 11th at 8:30 pm, est. We will be blessed with sister Virna Santos of “By Beholding His Love Ministries”. She has a burden to share her real life experience of having the challenge to provide for a child during and after being in a same-gender relationship. Her testimony will empower and inform in a manner that will help the addressing of this very critical issue by the Body of Christ.
