Trusting The Lord in Difficult Times

As the world is going through difficult times, the body of Christ should be preparing to solve the concerns the world is facing.  I know that there are those in the body of Christ who are going through hard times right now but I say to you trust in the Lord, don't look at your finances, your situations nor your circumstances.  The Lord has promised in his word to help you and to deliver you but you must believe what His Word says and walk by faith.  Nahum 1:7 says "The Lord is good; a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those how trust in Him."  Are you truly trusting in the Lord or are you trying to figure things out for yourself.  You may come up with a solution but it will not be the one the Lord has for you.  Proverbs 3:5-6 says; "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths."  If you seek the Lord and His kingdom, He has promised that all these things will be added to you.  (Matthew 6:33).  During these trying times, Micah 7:5 says "Do not trust in a friend; do not put your confidence in a companion; guard the doors of your mouth from her who lie in your bosom.  What are you speaking out of your mouth.  Proverbs 18:21 says:  Life and death are in the power of the tongue and those who love it shall eat the fruit thereof.   What are your speaking?  Are you saying what the Lord says or are your saying what you see?  If we truly trust the Lord, we must speak what He says and not what we see or think.  Trust the Lord today and watch Him move in your behalf.  Remember His ways are not our ways, neither are His thoughts our thoughts.  Remember that you are always on the heart of God, He is constantly thinking about you and your good because He loves you so much.
