Shiny Blogs Too Much - with guest Adam Ostrow

Shiny Talks Too Much about the Oscars

Personally, I really couldn't care less about "The Oscars." It's an elitist ceremony lauding only certain films that don't get play in most markets. The audiences would much rather see "Big Momma's House 4" than "Atonement." So why are these so-called artsy films the only ones nominated? To sum it up -- where the hell is "Mr. Woodcock?"

Shiny Talks Too Much - the Return

Shiny is BACK! He hasn't been talking too much, but hopefully that will change. The topic: The writers' strike is OVER! What does that mean for the upcoming months left of the TV season? Can it be salvaged?

  • Original Air Date:

    Shiny Watches Too Much TV

We've discussed cancelled shows; now let's talk about what's coming on during the 2007-08 season!

  • Original Air Date:

How to tell if your man is cheating...

Welcome to the STTM Season Premiere! We'll be talking about ... well, a whole bunch of random stuff.

  • Date / Time:

My "Season Premiere" - Saturday, May 12 at 3pm EDT.

I've already titled my show as "How to tell if your man is cheating." I highly doubt that we'll be talking about such subjects, but hey -- if Maury Povich and Montel Williams can fill up an hour on the subject, I suppose it will be a good crowd-pleaser in title alone.  (It was a tad less risque than "My teenage daughter is out of control!" We don't do that kind of show...)

We'll actually be talking about television shows -- specifically those that have been canceled too early. Whether you're a fan of "Drive" or "Studio 60" or "The Knights of Prosperity," we can all mourn together and fondly recall those that had departed our dear schedule.

Please tune in and call in! Mindsay folks are welcome. Non-Mindsay folks are welcome as well.
