Question: What is the maximum concentration of carbon dioxide that can be in the Earth's atmosphere before it starts to unleash drastic changes to the planet's temperatures and climate?

If you  said 350 parts per million (the answer agreed-upon by scientists as correct ), it's possible you gained that awareness through the efforts of 350.org.

This activist organization was originally started by environmental author Bill McKibben, known for his passion for - and books about - climate protection.

the name 350.org gives this group the double advantage of simplicity, while naming its ultimate goal in scientific terms. Awareness is growing due to their work.

In this 25-minute interview, Anna Goldstein, Nationsl Events Coordinator for 350-org, explains the the group's mission to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the damage they cause to the earth's temperatures and climate.

This interview with co-host Daniel Kerbein was first aired on KBBF-FM 89.1, Calistoga/Santa Rosa, California. Your support and donations to KBBF are appreciated. www.kbbf-fm.org
