HopeLab’s Richard Tate joins the show to talk about Re-Mission™, the groundbreaking video game for young people with cancer. (As a nanobot named Roxxi, players travel through the bodies of fictional cancer patients, destroying cancer cells, battling bacterial infections, and managing the side effects). As Director of Communications and Marketing, Richard is responsible for HopeLab’s media, product marketing activities and public relations, including the international Ruckus Nation competition. He previously served as Director of Corporate Communications for Chiron Corporation, and held editorial positions at GameSpy Industries, The Advocate, and Citysearch.com.
