Shift to Meaning~Everyday Wisdom with Max Wellspring

Shift to Meaning ~ Everyday Wisdom is an invitation to a highly inter-active discussion focusing on how to balance the demands of your everyday life with a spiritual perspective. In other words, this program will provide practical common sense inspiration for blending a desire to be conscious while living the realities of your life. The truth is that so many of us are attracted to spiritual principles such as peace, gratitude, service, forgiveness, generosity, compassion, being deliberately creative, allowing in your good and trusting that the Universe has your back, but when it comes to weaving these ideas into our daily lives, being spiritual and practical can seem challenging if not down right daunting. This program is designed to be an answer to that challenge. It is designed to provide insights, ah-ah moments, and even healing. The intention is that you will experience guidance to move beyond any embarrassment, shame or confusion about what it means to be spiritual in the real world so that you truly walk the talk of being a spiritual being having a human experience. Honestly, this is the call for our times…the time is now to embody all that is meant by being spiritual AND to be fully present in the world and in your life. This program is facilitated by Max Wellspring, an intuitive soul purpose guide, whose passion is to provide transformational support for living a rich, delight-filled, and meaningful life. Her interest in "transformation" is distinguished from just making "changes" in your life. If you make a change, you can change back, but with the kind of transformation Max stands for, you are not the same person you were and there is a permanent metamorphosis. The good news is that there is nothing “to learn” actually. It is a process of self realization. You have everything you need within you right now.

Aricia graduated from the University of Wisconsin with her Master of Science Degree in Educational Psychology. She is certified as a life coach through the Institute for Life Coach Training. She continues to pursue her education through individual study, workshops and classes. During her education, Aricia worked with the most challenging kids in the system -- very young, very violent offenders and their families. Later, she started a non-profit to help teen mothers on probation and her program to help teens and mothers locked in violent relationships -- co-created with the juvenile justice system -- has become a national model. She created a mentoring center (named "The Place" by the teens who helped create it) following Columbine for which she was named a 7 Everyday Hero by Denver's ABC affiliate, KMGH. Her work with teens was featured on Good Life Television and in Family Circle, Mothering Magazine and The Chronicle of Philanthropy. Visitors from around the nation and the world came to share and learn at The Place. The Place became the template for other mentoring centers around the globe. Her work helping families get organized has been featured in USA Today and MSNBC and she has been a guest on NPR. She has written monthly columns on families and parenting for local papers and has been a guest on KOSI radio as well as on KMGH TV in Denver. She worked as a therapist for ten years, helping families and eventually specializing in adolescent addictions counseling prior to starting her non-profit organization to help children and families. In 2004, she completed her training in professional coaching and opened Dynamic Family Coaching Solutions, LLC. Original Air Date:

Author Dennis Merritt Jones on Shift-to-Meaning Radio

Throughout his lifetime, Dennis Merritt Jones has been on a quest to inspire and lift people to a higher expression of life. His personal vision is to guide people to their purpose, knowing that when a person is fully awakened to who they authentically are and why they are on the planet, they begin to naturally share their gift with humankind and, in the process, create an enriching life for themselves and the world around them. Dennis believes each one of us has the capacity and, ultimately, the responsibility to contribute something positive to this world, leaving it a better place than it was when we arrived. His teachings promote a contemporary, life-affirming, spiritually logical and positive outlook on life, which are reflected in his writings. He says, "A positive thinker grounded in his or her spirituality is the most powerful person on the face of the planet." Dennis founded the OneSpirit Center for Spiritual Living in Simi Valley, CA, in 1985 and retired from that pulpit ministry in 2008 with a desire to take his passion for writing and teaching to the world. Dennis is the author of The Art of Being ~ 101 Ways To Practice Purpose In Your Life, released in April 2008 by Tarcher/Penguin Publishing. A discussion of Dennis’ content rich book will be the focus of the radio show today. We live lives dictated by our to-do lists and most of us long to find a way to be in the present moment and still meet the practical needs of our daily experience. This book provides the guidance and the very doable “mindfulness practice” action steps that you can apply directly to your life in order to experience ease and grace and balance in all things.
