And so its energy brings clarity and wisdom when most of us would be unable to see and hear through the interference present in our every day life. Our hope in adopting the Owl is that its energy will bring us clarity, truth, wisdom and foresight in managing the world’s challenges to further advance literacy around the planet. It has over the years hosted 140 journalists from more than 40 countries who were forced to flee persecution in their homeland. It can house 15 refugees at a time, each of whom stays for six months. At the unique House of Journalists in PARIS, France, in the Parisian suburb of Bobigny, refugee reporters are regarded as heroes and welcomed with open arms, a far cry from their treatment back home. 00:30:00Radio Literacynorefugees, international jouralism, reporting, content writing, writersThis program was adapted and produced by Sherylann Barrington of Radio Literacy One from sources such as Euro news and Aljazeera Set up in 2002 by journalistsWe Are Literacy for Our Worldhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/sherylann8/2012/07/21/literacy-for-our-worldEducationhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/sherylann8/2012/07/21/literacy-for-our-world/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/sherylann8/2012/07/21/literacy-for-our-worldSat, 21 Jul 2012 16:00:00 GMTWe Are Literacy for Our World If everyone shared a common belief about Literacy, its purpose and meaning, the real difficulties of unequal literacy levels among differing genders may cease to exist.
