African women on the continent and across the Diaspora have long represented a kind of leadership that reflects a deep commitment to empowerment and service. Just last month two African women, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Leyma Gbowe were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for their leadership in transforming their homeland of Liberia.

Our guests this month Ebony Noelle Golden and Busayo Obisaken represent the a transformative style of leadership that women of African descent are using to bring peace, healing, and empowerment to their communities and beyond.
