    TV Talk a look back at 08 and hopes for 09

    The great experiment started in earnest in late 2007 going into 2008, after the JERICHO Save campaign and the return of the show.

    The idea is to follow Art Bell's formula for success with Coast to Coast AM which is on 300 some radio stations.  I am quite familiar with Art Bell's rise to success with Coast to Coast in that his radio show started here in Las Vegas at KDWN.

    Coast to Coast is a niche show that is a stark alternative to the political shows. And TV Talk can also succeed in much the same way C2C did.

    We have brought together great TV sites to do segments once a week to talk TV. The great people from all of these websites bring their perspectives and credibility to TV Talk and I thank them for that.

     I am a fan doing a show about TV for fans of TV.  And yes we get excited about the ratings and moves by the networks etc.

    Another goal is to be fair to the celebrity guests that are on.  And to keep focused on their career and current role and to avoid if at all possible, delving into their personal lives.  To make them feel that TV Talk is a comfortable and safe radio show to be on.

    Lets hope 09 brings more accessibility to the TV (broadcast and cable) networks, studios and their TV series.
