All the way from the west coast, Evangelist Dr. Lottie Stearne will be interviewed by Prophetess J. as she discusses her brand new book entitled... Treasure in the Midst of Ruins Birth Out of Bondage (published by AuthorHouse) is a true story of redemption. Evangelist Lottie Stearne recounts her life experiences and how she went from a life not worth living to a life filled with love for God. From an early age, Stearne was a victim of verbal, physical and sexual abuse. A distressing childhood led to a shame-filled adolescence. By the time she was 11-years-old she was getting high and having sex with men twice her age. She soon ran away, dropped out of school and continued to date older men. A slew of them took advantage of her, even forcing her into prostitution. Lost from the world, Stearne was truly at rock bottom. She hopped between older men, living in their homes and allowing herself to be manipulated. Drinking, smoking and using drugs were a daily habit. At one point she attempted suicide. While in a relationship with an older man whose antics drove them both to madness, Stearne recognized that their arguments might one day escalate to serious violence. It was 1983. She had a spiritual vision shortly after this realization and caught a bus to a local Pentecostal church. Emotionally she was drained. Then, she started down a path of living for the Lord. Stearne quickly relapsed into a four-year binge on her old ways, only to finally come back to the messages of Jesus and once-and-for-all seek his guidance. Treasure in the Midst of Ruins: Birth Out of Bondage is a testimony to the undiscriminating love of the God that will strengthen any Christian’s belief that God can help anyone.
