Nancy Bruning is living the dream—but it took an AHA moment. She was already a breast cancer survivor and author of over 25 books on health and fitness when she realized she was not following her own advice. There she sat, alone at her computer, hour after hour, with a bowl of Hershey's kisses to keep her awake and happy. She had a health club membership she didn’t use regularly. She was not taking advantage of her neighborhood parks.
She decided to combine her love of writing with exercise and became a certified personal trainer and also went back to school to get a master's degree in public health. Today, she coaches people one-on-one and in groups about how to be fit in body, mind, and soul. She is founder and president of Nancercize, a unique approach to optimizing health and body weight by customizing food, exercise, nutritional supplements, and stress management. Her book and video program, "101 Things to Do on a Park bench," demonstrates 101 exercises to stretch, tone, and strengthen your body and refresh your mind. Visit her website at www.nancercize.net to see a free video that will inspire you and make you smile, and for information about ordering her book, or to stay in touch by subscribing to her weekly blog.
