That is the point of the resurrection of Jesus to show us that anything is possible for those who believe in God and do His will.  The resurrection of Jesus shows us an important fundamental to the Old Law; that a covenant made cannot be broken unless the act of death takes place.  The covenant of marriage was a blood covenant between the master and servant. The man was the head of the household and the servant was a willful participant never a slave in the life long partnership. Together they would build eachother up and help eachother in strength. This is like our relationship we have with YHWH through Jesus.  Jesus has become our life’s partner only if we chose to follow Him. The Old Law forced us to follow God but through the death of Jesus the Old Law was out to death through the clothing of our sin.
