Shamit Khemka Owner of Synapse India  

Synapse India was launched in the year 2000 by Shamit Khemka, the company’s 34-year-old CEO. The IT solutions outsourcing enterprise was founded with a modest investment of Rs 6 lakh and only 5 rented computers. Today, it is a major IT outsourcing company, with a workforce of more than 300.

It is Khemka’s dream to serve the IT vertical, along with his unwavering dedication, that has brought Synapse India to the pinnacle it is at now and will take it to the heights it will scale in the future. “Being a successful entrepreneur takes more than just launching new ventures every other day. It requires having the right attitude towards life, along with the determination and grit to achieve success,” comments Khemka, when asked about the qualities required to become successful.

“Just working hard is for donkeys. It pays to work smart. That way, you achieve what you want, and don’t burn out,” answers Khemka, when asked his opinion on hard work.
