Don’t let the name fool you. Hog Pin is a group of young adults that believe in God. They thrive on unity, love, sacrifice, respect, and family. They realize that one will not “eat” (prosper) without the help of others, and they do not mind working hard to achieve their goals. They use these ideals to give strength and guidance to youth in their communities in Alabama. ------ Opening up for Dottie Peoples, Lil Flip, Mel Waiters, Nappy Roots, Pastor Troy, AK from Grand Hustle, Q from 112 and even singing background for Michael Bolton and Lionel Harris cultivated their intensifying stage presence. --------Between the musical geniuses of Mel Waiters and Hog Pin, this project is expected to reach every market and go double platinum. --------After meeting Mel Waiters, the group was steered to focus on Southern Soul along with their endeavors in R&B, Hip Hop, Rock, and Gospel. With Mel Waiters, the group recorded a project entitled, Soul Time, which is due to be released in 2010. The single, Can You Drop It, which was released on April 16, 2010, is spreading like wild fire.
