Desmond Howard
- Desmond Howard who missed all of last season due to a torn ACL looked like he has not missed a beat. Howard brought a lot of energy to the practice and you can tell hes glad to be back. St. Francis will need him for a big down low presence . Howard is listed as 6"5 and 210.
Sophmore to Varsity
Yes, it was only the first day of practices. However, Sophmore Tyler Wagner looked quite impressive playing out there tonight. The thing that sticks out the most is he handled himself very well on the court against Juniors and Seniors. He's a very good passer, and he sees the court well. For Wagner to make it to Varsity he's going to have to have more practices like this one and improve his jump shot. A lack of depth at guards helps Wagner's chances for making the Varsity team.
Positve Energy on Day 1
- The whole practice tonight had a good flow to it and the players showed alot of energy through the 2hr practice.  " Very spirted, veterans working hard, hope effort continues like this through out the season" Coach Ed Hoak said after the practice.
Clifford and Kerr
- Kyle Clifford and Rolan Kerr were not at practice tonight because they werent at school today.
Injuries
- Patrick Reichert has been bothered by a bad leg that he hurt late last season. About halfway through the practice Reichert had to sit out because of it. He didnt return and will hope to have an update after tomorrow mornings practice
Practice Time
-The Red Raiders hit the court again tomorrow morning at 9 am for another two hour practice
