    Clifford comes up clutch

The St. Francis Red Raiders are a team that likes to shoot the 3 ball. One game vs Cardinal Ohara in January the Red Raiders shot a school record 17 3's in that contest. However lately the 3's hadnt been going in. Last week they hit rock bottom has they only made two 3's out of around 20 attempts.
However, the Red Raiders shot the ball enormously better tonight and were able to jump out to a six point lead for most of the game. Even when St. Marys came back and took the lead 57-56, and held the lead 63-60 with 3 seconds left you just could feel like something great was going to happen.
For a team that is loaded with three point shooters, it was the Junior on the team Kyle Clifford that made the differnce. Clifford shot a three that may go down to his biggest three in his basketball career. Clifford three pointer at the buzzer tied the game and sent the game into overtime.
In overtime with St. Francis trailing by three 69-66 with 1 minute to go Clifford was there again, hitting another three to tie it.
St. Francis ended up getting two steals and Fabor finnished the games last four points of in a  73-69 Ot winner.
For St. Francis they live to fight another day, with out the Junior Clifford they would not be going to the semis
